EXCLUSIVE | What the victims from the USA and the Republic of Moldova told DIICOT in the Tate brothers’ case
The case against brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate, together with former police officer Luana Radu and their right-hand woman Georgiana Naghel, is in the procedural phase concerning the computer searches of mobile phones, laptops and devices seized during the raids on the 29th of December 2022. There are four incriminating statements in the case, according to the investigators, two of which are made by the American woman E.G. and the young Moldavian woman A.U.
GÂNDUL is able to provide you with the details that the woman from the Republic of Moldova gave to the investigators, as recorded at the end of the hearing of 10th January 2023 of the Bucharest Court of Appeal judges:
For two weeks, the injured person A.U. lived with P.I., A.B.G. and A.M.A., and during this time, the defendant Naghel Georgiana was nice to her, she was the one who took care of the shopping and everything needed for the house. Injured person A.U. also testified that P.I. and A.B. told him that they made OnlyFans and that half of the earnings they made they gave to the two brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate. At the same time, the defendant Naghel Georgiana was the one in charge of collecting the money obtained from posting various images and videos on the OnlyFans website, who then gave the money to the defendants Andrew and Tristan Tate, while the defendant Radu Luana was the one in charge of managing the accounts on the social media platform”
How the victim from the Republic of Moldova ended up going live on TikTok under the name Natasha
The injured party A.U. also stated that „the defendant Naghel proposed to her from the very first day to create a special account for her in order to obtain money from posting live videos, with the card of Naghel Georgiana attached to the TikTok account. The named A.B. (another injured party in the case) suggested to the injured party to go live on TikTok, with the defendant Andrew Tate suggesting that she could do so as she could earn some money”.
The victim from the Republic of Moldova, the court document states, went live on TikTok with A.B. ( the latter being one of the young women who, in the public space, claimed that she was not a victim, even though prosecutors introduced her as such in the case). During the filming on TikTok, the young woman from the Republic of Moldova was called Natasha.
In the motivation of the Bucharest Court of Appeal, it is further stated, with reference to this aspect:
She had not been given an account, she was using the account of another girl, A.M.A., known as Coculeț, who had been in a relationship with Tristan, but had already left (editor’s note – had left the Tate brothers’ location). He received a Huawei-branded phone and in it he saw the videos of A.M.A., who was tattooed „Talisman Tate” and the infinity sign.”
Meeting in Miami and takeover with Rolls-Royce at Otopeni
From the statement of the US woman mentioned as strong evidence in the case by the DIICOT investigators, it appears how she was „recruited” by Tristan Tate.
E.G. met Tristan Tate through the Reddit app as well as on a dating site where she was contacted by him. They talked for about a month and a half, then met in late December 2021, when Tristan Tate was in Florida – Miami at a conference.”
These were conferences that were held by the Tate brothers to teach men how to relate to women, and E.G. received an invitation to these conferences, the entrance fee being about $7,000.
According to the statement she gave to DIICOT, E.G. arrived in Romania on 5 April 2022.
Tristan Tate picked her up from the airport in a blue Rolls-Royce. He told her they were going to lunch, even though she wanted to rest. Tristan Tate took her to his house (…) in the yard he saw two armed men”.
In the same statement, E.G. said she then remembered Tristan Tate squeezing her neck (when they lived together for a week and had sex in the U.S.), „but couldn’t remember in Miami whether she wanted to or not, since that’s what Tate had told her.”
US victim agreed to pose nude on condition of face blurring
After her arrival in Romania, while she stayed in the Tate brothers’ house in Voluntari, the victim claims that Tristan Tate always let her know that she was being watched, even when she was writing in the living room.
„E.G. told her she no longer wanted to live there, he asked her if she wanted to live in the house where Andrew Tate lives with two girlfriends or in another apartment where there was another girlfriend of Tristan Tate (Carmen), whom she also met, who is Romanian and had a one-year and four-month relationship with Tristan Tate,” according to the court document.
E.G. was asked if she would agree to take nude photos, for which she would receive 50,000 euros. From her statement it appears that she agreed, but on one condition: that her face be blurred.
According to the statement given by the young woman from the US, on April the 10th, 2022, together with the young woman from the Republic of Moldova, „they decided to leave there and got tickets for London,” the document also states.
Andrew and Tristan Tate are in custody since the 29th of December 2022, after DIICOT prosecutors raided their villa in Pipera and their videochat studio. They were joined by Georgiana Naghel and former police officer Luana Alexandra Radu.
They are accused that, in 2021, they „established an organized criminal group with a view to committing the crime of trafficking in human beings in Romania and other countries, such as the United States and the United Kingdom”.
„The victims were then transported and housed in buildings in Ilfov county where, through acts of physical violence and psychological coertion (through intimidation, constant surveillance, control and the allegation of debts),they were sexually exploited by members of the group by being forced to engage in pornographic acts with a view to producing and disseminating such material via social media platforms and by being forced to perform forced labor in order to obtain significant financial benefits consisting in sums of money obtained as a result of users accessing the material”, according to the DIICOT.
